July 2024 Littleham Film & Social Club
June’s film “Wicked Little Letters” was an hilarious true story based on a trial in Littlehampton in the 1920’s. Our film club audience loved the movie despite some very strong language. A star studied cast lead by Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley made for an enjoyable film club evening. It was good to see so many attending and enjoying a great social event.
Because of the village fete 6th July our film club meeting goes back a week
Our July 13th film is "What we did on our holiday" – While visiting family in the Scottish Highlands, a troubled couple (Rosamund Pike, David Tennant) try to put on a happy face, but their three children innocently reveal all of their biggest secrets.
As always, we meet at Littleham Village Hall, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm screening on Saturday 13th July. £15 subscription pays for the whole season's films until December 2024 or pay in 3 x instalments of £5.00, after which all films are free - £1.50 per film. A well-stocked Bar, a glorious raffle, free tea, coffee, and biscuits in the interval, £1 ice creams, tall seats on the back two rows and a warm welcome will greet you. Come early if you like to sit in the front and benefit from the sub-titles. Hoping to see you on 13th July, the Film Committee and our Wonderful volunteers (call Keith - 07425392731 for more information).
